Hi!
In my design process I'm creating models from existing components that will be part of my final design. A lot of the time this involves creating subcomponents that I combine together into small assemblies that are imported in my project as a group.
It was really bugging me that the relative position of the elements within imported assembly changes some times. This can be remedied by creating joints within the assembly before importing them, but I wonder if this relative position change is really needed in the first place?
I've added pictures below to illustrate how an assembly looks and how it changes when imported.
