No longer able to animate components in Animation Workspace

Im curios if anyone else is seeing the following issue. For some strange reason I am no longer able to transform new components in the Animation workspace. It appears this is new issue as I have never seen this before and I have created a lot of multi component animations in the past. When I select the component,  pivot point, transformation and select OK the transformation does not show up on the timeline.   I even tried creating a completely new design with two simple components, neither of these components will transform.

I do have old designs that have animations that work however I noted I can no longer create transformations based on new components in them either so this affecting old and new designs.

This issues does not seem to affect my ability to create animations in the Design Environment so its limited to Animation Environment

Im am currently using Fusion 2.0.10564 on a Mac M1 with BigSur 11.4 ...

I cannot reproduce this result. Animations are working well in my tests, but I'm running 11.5.1.

There have been a few issues related to 11.4, so maybe you are seeing something related to that, but I doubt it.

Can you make a video of your attempt to create animations? I'd like to see what you are seeing. Please include the entire Fusion application frame when you record it.

Thanks,

Sorry but the share link does not allow downloading, so I cannot test the model you shared. Please choose the option to allow download when creating the share link.

And I also didn't see a video, did you mean to attach one?

Thanks for trying, and sorry for the inconvenience.

You could use File > Export > .f3d to attach the file here.

OK, I better understand the issue now and have a partial solution. Partial in that it sometimes works. My issue is clearly related to selecting the pivot point. When I select the pivot point (left mouse button) on a complex item and then try to move my cursor to the checkmark to accept the pivot point, as soon as I move my cursor 1mm the system immediately changes the pivot point to a different point. In other words there is no easy way to select a pivot point and then accept it because there are always surfaces between my pivot point and the checkbox. My work around is to select he pivot point, then right click and move my mouse to the checkbox and select it. This sometimes works but not every time. More often than not the pivot point ends up where the checkbox was. I have to believe there is someway to accept a pivot point without moving the mouse ....

Thanks for the explanation. I'd still like to see what your screen looks like in the middle of this to try and reproduce it. I'm happy to look into any usability issue here.

I will ask a colleague to follow up if you can provide a video or screen capture image. I'll be away from the forum for a few weeks starting today. Thanks for posting!

Here is a screencast of the issue with selecting a pivot point. I have no issue with simple components however the more complex the component the harder it is to select a pivot point. My work around is to select the pivot point then right click, move my mouse to the checkbox and accept the pivot point. This is shown at the end of the video. I should however point out that this does not always work.
