Newb question. Can only sketch on XY plane need YZ

I have honestly tried to to find the answer on forums and Youtube, but I think its so basic and obvious that nobody bothers...hehe.  I'm trying to teach myself Fusion 3d.  I am trying to add an new sketch to the YZ plane and every time I select the surface or plane it automatically starts the sketch on the XY plane and I cannot figure out how to change it.  I am use to a dialogue that pops up after selecting the line sketch tool that says to select plane or surface, I would like that option.

I knew it would be dumb.  I went back to watching Youtube videos until I got an idea.  I was simply not finishing the sketch I previously did on a previous plane.  I clicked "Finish Sketch" and all was good.  Only people this will likely help is those like me completely new to the CAD world.
