I watching a Fusion 360 Youtube video - for beginners. 

Fusion 360 Tutorial for Absolute Beginners— Part 1

At the beginning of the video, I'm instructed to be in the model environment.  My version doesn't have a model option.

the "Model" workspace has been changed a bit since that video.  It is now the "Design" workspace, and Design has "Solid" and "Surfacing" tabs for tools.  So, Design + Solid is the closest thing to what used to be "Modeling"
