Most frustrating user experiance

So I am a 'casual' Fusion 360 user -- I am not one of those guys that is in it every day and know every in and out of the **** thing, every now and then I try to learn something new... So I come in every few months when I get an idea for something I want to create. AND **** everything I learned about Fusion 360 has gone to hell. EVERYTHING has moved around, or one or two items are gone.  When I go to look at a tutorial online -- NOTHING Is the same between that person's layout and mine. I am even taking classes from Linked in or another I bought off of Udemy. NOTHING is the same between the presenter and my screen because the layout HAS CHANGED!! This makes it very very very VERY VERY difficult to learn your product because now I have to spend what little time I have to "Enjoy" my hobby to try and figure this **** thing out YET AGAIN. FRUSTRATING FRUSTRATING FRUSTRATING. I am a software engineer, and I understand the challenges, but sometimes you just have to leave something the way it is instead of "improving" it because the change would cause more confusion that leaving it alone. Training sessions done only a year or two ago, or tutorials on youtube -- ALL of them have a DIFFERENT UI than the modern Fusion 360. I can't tell you how frustrating it is for a new user -- I am so glad I DIDN'T Pay for this crap that's all I gotta say, I would be pissed if I had spend hundreds on this product to have you keep pulling the rug out from under me.

That may explain a lot. I'm a Senior so probably way down the food chain as far as Autodesk are concerned. The probability of any the work seniors do ever becoming a revenue stream for them would be very low.

I have wondered why something I thought I knew how to do suddenly doesn't do what I expected. Normally I'd say it’s an age thing but if Fusion 360 is changing that frequently it would certainly add to my confusion.

I'm not complaining though, as with many other seniors, I'm grateful to Autodesk to have the personal version available. It helps keep the old grey matter working and now I know it's constantly changing there's another challenge for my remaining brain cells. 😀😁

Don't get my wrong, I like that F360 is free to those who are just
tinkering, but man its frustrating when you're following a tutorial, or
trying to go through a class and nothing lines up. I just tried to install
the X-Carve add in for F360 -- instructions say to go to the Fusion 360
menu next to the apple icon, select preferences --- It's not there. Now I
have to hunt and guess to figure it out, and the instructions were not
written all that long ago.

It has not been anywhere near the apple icon as far as I can remember for years and the preferences are under your name or image on the far right of the screen, do you have a link to this video?  a lot of people who do youtube fusion videos do not remove them when they are out of date, if the video is a few months old it will be fine, more than a year don't bother it could well be wrong.
