Migrating from paid version to free version

I have used Fusion 360 for the past 2.5 years and now in the spring it will need to be renewed at an extremely prohibitive cost for me. I am retired and do no commercial activity - just hobby CNC and 3D printing.

Can I keep my previous files and switch to a free account? I do only simple three axis CNC work and small 3D objects. Will the free version have any limitations for me?

I am pretty confident that you can keep your files, but I don't exactly know what the correct process is to switch licenses.

@James.Youmatz Can you answer this question?

Hi @jimjax ,

Yes this is possible, as long as you use your same email address that you purchased Fusion with. You would need to turn auto-renew off from you Autodesk Account, and let the subscription expire. Once expired, you can sign up for a personal license here: https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/personal. The free version does have limitations and can be found in the website I just linked.

I see there is a limitation on 2,3 axis milling - what are the limitations?
