Combining Two Bodies - Lining up the faces

I'm designing a bucket and need to place small part on the bucket, but I'm not sure how to line up the parts properly.  I need the part to line up in the center of the outside of the bucket, 3 of them 120* apart.  Is there a way to setup a grid on the parent part so that when combining, I can get it to snap to the center of the bucket?  Or how do I move the part to the exact center of the bucket wall?

Thanks!

If you design the parts in place, there's no need to move them. If you want more specific advice, share the model in .f3d format 😉

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.
