Before I explain the issue, yes I've looked at the threads that are relevant to my problem and tried any suggestions listed in those threads but my problem persists.  To be specific, I've applied system updates, updated my GPU drivers, performed a clean uninstall and then a new download twice, including running the install as administrator and still no cigar.  The problem is simple, the text in several menus is missing or very faint, almost as if it is a watermark.  The menus or boxes I've noticed this happening in include McMaster Carr, which makes it impossible to use, the 'share public link' box and even the sign-in box.  I've literally lost half a working day trying to sort this out.  As a professional, this means a loss of money for my employer so it would be nice if this is actually addressed by the Fusion Team - something that I've noticed hasn't been happening in other threads pertaining to this issue.

Hi @mda,

 

We're investigating an issue with text rendering on certain graphics chipsets. In the meantime, could you please try the following as a workaround?

 

  1. Right-click on My Computer/This PC on the Desktop or in the Start Menu and select “Properties”
  2. In the left column of the System window that appears, select “Advanced System Settings”
  3. Within the System Properties window that appears, click “Environment Variables” in the bottom right
  4. Within Environment Variables, click “New…” under the System Variables section
  5. For Variable Name, enter NEUTRON_WEBBROWSER_ALLOW_GPU_BLACKLIST
  6. For Variable Value, enter 1
  7. Click OK to save the new variable
  8. Launch Fusion 360

@gretel.schwartzottW8A28 this is a very old issue and the app has changed significantly under the hood since then. Could you please create a new post with screenshots or recordings and steps to reproduce the issue?
