McMaster-Carr requests login

Hi,

So basically when I open the option of 'Insert a McMaster Carr Component' I'm basically asked to log in to it every time I try. This is getting a common practice. Guys, I wonder if you guys have lost association with MMC guys. It is actually very useful feature to drop some screws and bolts and nuts whenever I'm designing.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting! I can insert components from McMaster-Carr without logging in. Can you still insert components from McMaster-Carr? What happens if you clear user cache in Fusion, does that help?

Hey @masa.minohara

I just tried to insert components from MMC via fusion and it seems to be working right now. The reason I had to come to the forum was because when I was working in Fusion two to three days before I came across this problem. I've had seen other posts in here stating the same thing. And it wasn't just a one time thing. For now, it works but sometimes when I need it, it happens to ask for login.

I also am unaware how to clear the cache in the FUSION 360, if it is not much of a trouble maybe you can explain it in a short message or maybe post a link in reply so that I can get back to it?

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for your response! Glad to hear it's working now. "Clear user cache data" can be found in the Help menu in the top right corner. I haven't seen the issue with McMaster-Carr on my machine and honestly I'm not sure if clearing cache helps solve the issue but I thought it won't hurt to try. (Please make sure to save files you are working on before doing this)
