Mac Bug: Editing Sketch Does Not Remember View

Sketch always reopens in an utterly stupid location, for example at 10% size and in the top right corner of the screen.

Where did brain-dead behavior like this come from? Why are developers too lazy to fix it?

Sketch view should always return to the last view that was used when editing that sketch. This should be obvious. If this isn't available, then (obviously) the view should frame the sketch contents.

Why are basics like this so neglected? Why is there no quality control?

Hey!

There is a preference to turn on Auto look at sketch, and a shortcut for zoom to fit.

This will set the sketch plane as the view plane. Then you can simply hit F6 and this will zoom to fit.

That said I will add your request to our feature tracking dashboard, and appreciate your feedback.

This was already enabled and doesn't seem to have any relation to the buggy behavior.

This should be centered and zoomed to fit by default.

Can you confirm that this was the zoom level you were in when you went to edit the sketch? If so this is the current expected behavior. Hitting F6 after will zoom to fit.
I have logged the feature request and will be discussing it at our next meeting.

The zoom level of a 3d view plane does not correspond to the zoom level of a 2d sketch plane.

This is a false equivalence and the cause of the bug.
