LOST MY DESIGNS

Needed to do a clean uninstall due to tooltips flashing, then disappearing.  Checked the wrong box on local cache.  Uninstalled, reinstalled and my designs are gone.  Any way to retrieve them?

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting! If your files are saved on the cloud, you can access them by just logging into Fusion 360 and the files will show up in the data panel. You can also find your files in this page.

If your files do not show up in that page, I don't think there is a way to recover the files after performing clean uninstall unfortunately.

Another thing to check, please make sure that you are using the correct email address when logging into Fusion 360.

Regarding the issue with tool tip, I apologize for the inconvenience and this article contains information on how to work around the issue.

I was able to find my designs, and downloaded them.  For some reason they would not show up in already opened instance of fusion 360, nor could I save my current project.  After much hair pulling I opened another instance of fusion....lo and behold, there were my designs in data panel.  I was also now able to save my current project (both the data panel and save icon had bee grayed out).  Also was able to fix disappearing tooltips problem thanks to your help.  Thanks for your response to my inquiry.
