Edit the 15mm dimension in the attached file to 16mm.

Undo.

Edit the 15mm dimension to 30 mm and the Split Face updates but the Loft fails.

Hi JD and Peter,

I took a look at the model. I can reproduce the behavior. Here is what I find. I suspect it has something to do with the face profile tracking (Naming and Matching). When Loft2 is edited, the first profile is actually the whole rectangular face. This is already wrong. This means that the loop consumed by the Loft2 initially isn't stably available. When it flips to the other side (the rectangular profile minus the diamond shape), the Loft2 will fail.

To avoid the ambiguity, I created a Boundary Patch surface based on the split edges. Then use the BP face as the profile for Loft2. It seems to work much better. Please take a look at the attached file.

Many thanks!

Hello, thanks for reporting this.

Looks like closed split face profiles are not being correctly tracked by Loft. This is evident by the selection preview as @johnsonshiue has pointed out.
Projecting the sketch onto the face (instead of using split face), and selecting that projection for the loft should also work as a workaround.

We have logged this internally under FUS-236523.

Thank you very much again.
