Issue with Components Not Showing Individually in Assembly

Hi, I’d need some advice with assembly and components because I’m doing something wrong, or I already did something and I don’t know what.

The first important thing is that I’m using assembly and components for the very first time, so it’s something new for me.

I modeled a part of a model that I want to put into an assembly to test how it moves, etc. For every part I started modeling, I clicked on the big and small cube in the top left and chose Create Component. Based on this video, I wanted to put it together, but the problem is that when I go into My Recent Data in the menu, I see the whole project instead of its individual components. And when I insert it as a whole, the main plate that is supposed to stay fixed can’t be grounded, because it wants me to ground all the other components as well.

I can’t upload the project for you, but I’m attaching at least some pictures.

How i creat components

Hi @lukasdobis,

Fusion allows 2 types of assembly methodology.
Internal or External.
I wont delve into them completely here, both have pros and cons. But to answer your primary question that you can only see the assembly in your documents, this is because all the components are internal to that assembly.
They cannot be seen separately, without exporting them.

Without the project it's harder to diagnose.
Looking at the pictures I see there are no Joints or constraints applied, that would be my advice, use constraints and or Joints to assemble the components.
