For the life of me, I can not understand why something so SIMPLE as splitting a face can be screwed up so badly!!!!!

The cutting tool does not work the way it has for YEARS!

It seems like it has been updated but to me, if it was, it is a MASSIVE failure of an update!

I would post an example but it's almost 1am in the morning and I've spent the last several hours trying to get something that has been a solid concept and tool since I started using Fusion several years ago to work even close to what it did 2 or 3 days ago!

(to add insult to injury I just renewed my subscription!!!!!)

Someone should try this for grins and giggles... in surface modeling, extrude any vector and try to 'Split Face' with any other vector like you have for YEARS... you are now asked... Do you want to split with a 'surface' a 'vector' or a 'closest point' and NONE of them work like this very simple and basic tool worked just a couple of days ago!

(I am sure y'all with try it and it'll work fine.... would be my luck)

Seems to be ok. Not all situations make sense, because of geometrical limits.

It's probably just you 😉

Share a design and we can investigate.

Sometimes when Fusion does something like this, saving the file, closing Fusion and restarting fixes the problem. I've had a few occasions where I've posted a problem here with a file and no one else sees the problem, a restart fixed it!
