Is it possible to export a Fusion 360 file in any format; then open it in another CAD program, and have all the geometry and features (sketches, extrudes, etc.) in tact?

no, this is not possible.  As far as I know, this is not possible in any CAD product on the market.  The feature set between any CAD products are just not similar enough to make this work.  All it takes is one feature to compute differently on the target system (or to not be supported on the target system), and the resulting model would be useless.

Thanks, that's what I thought. So it is painful to change CAD programs if you want to maintain edit-ability of your existing models. I see that as a real deterrent to changing CAD programs.
