invisible constraints prevent changes or merging of two sketches

While working on a component I ended up with two sketches for one component body. One on the component level and one on the document level by mistake. The one on the component level does not show the constraints specified in the document sketch.missing constraints.png

The one on the document level has them.

I wasn't even aware that was possible. Now I don't see a way to fix this and merge them.

I've even copied the component into a new document. This way I ended up having only the component level sketch without the dimensions. Yet I still cannot change the shape of the sketch at all. I can't even add dimensions because it would be over constrained. How does one see/manage all the constraints?

I feel pretty stuck with no idea how to fix the current situation. I am close to redesigning the part because I don't see any way to remove the invisible constraints. Is this a bug?

Maybe I could just re-design the sketch and change the extrusion references?
Why is it even possible that constraints are not shown - especially when copied into a new document?

Any help or ideas much appreciated.

I made it available at http://vafer.org/pub/sharpener3.f3d
The one in question is "shape".
