Internal CAM kernel error help

I have been successfully regenerating various versions of a 2D adaptive tool path, but now I am getting a CAM kernel error. I have attached my file - any help is appreciated.

I may have found the issue. I had lowered the 'additional offset' in the geometry to 1 mm. When I raised it to 2 mm it generated without the error. if anyone has an explanation I would be happy to learn from it. Thank you.

There are many factors that go into whether an Adaptive toolpath fails or succeeds. I think one of the things causing the failure was that you had "Flat Area Detection" turned on, but you also had a value of .0001mm, which is insanely small. Setting it to your tolerance value of .1mm allowed the toolpath to work with all your other settings as you had them.

Thank you for the reply. I do not remember setting the Flat Area Detection or assigning a value - I will watch for that in the future.
