Interface block

Why does it seem blocked even if the finder doesn't show it blocked? What happens?

@bombolo It looks like a UI is not appearing. Are you on multiple monitors and if so coming to one monitor does it show any UI? Also if you hit return or esc does that help? 

Is there a set of steps that you can repeat and get into this mode?

@bombolo One another solution to try when you hit this is change screen resolution and see if that resets and brings the UI back in focus?

I only have 1 monitor and I don't use multi desktops, by choice. However, if it happens again, I try to change the resolution of the monitor, as you suggested.
