inconsistent part features after 'save as' operation

I just stumbled across an issue I never had before. I wanted to save a part from an assembly file (to do some CAM on the part).

I used the 'save as' menu on the part, but the saved file has a different geometry, one feature moves obviously. I tried 'export...' to *.f3d but same result. Exporting to .iges and reimporting to fusion worked, but still ...

screencast shows what happened.

Did anyone cam across this issue? What to do?

It makes me nervous, because if the difference is not not obvious, I might end up machining wrong parts ...

Thanks,

Stefan

Hello @designingberlin,

thanks for posting! I noticed a few warnings in your timeline. You might try to do the following:

1) Go to "Modify -> Compute All" in the original design,

2) Revise the warnings and possible errors in your timeline,

3) Repeat the steps to save the component.

If it does not work, you may send me a link to the design. I would like to investigate at which point in the timeline you created the feature that's being displaced. Thanks in advance!
