Importing vector files ?

Can anyone suggest a solution (learner)  ... 🙂 
Also my system hangs a fair bit with mesh lines all of a sudden shooting away from components ???

Any assistance would be appreciated

Yeah Hi Ryan, Thanks for the reply 🙂
I am running an older versioon of Coreldraw12 and a program called Affinity (which i find quite good )
I am able create .dwg / eps / svg / png's and jpegs etc .... for export (Nice smooth curves LOL!)
However i just worked out how to import an SVG through the "Insert Menu" which is great - but was quite trucated once extruded is there a way to weld this to be one solid body / component??? ...

I imagine it is possible but hard to say without seeing the exact file. 

Just curious, have you tried dwg?

LOL as i said OLD version of Cdrw12 pre win10! and its on an old pc a hassle to go back and forth as i cant get the version to new pc ... but yes i'll give that a swing ty!

when Importing is it always best to go through the Insert Menu?

Unfortunately if i try to share a screenshot in the field below it wants to share my whole page even though i hhave cropped just the component to show you!

Hmm well its hard to do more without having it or seeing more. Even just a sample in .svg would be worthwhile to see what happens.

For the insert option. If its a filetype Fusion accepts i would use the Upload dialog box in the data panel. .dwg is the only one i recall from your list that will upload cleanly. If inserting into design then they way you are doing it is likely fine.
