Imported AUTOcad files; issue with component appearance

I've looked through other posts and seen that sometimes the components' materials/appearances can have artifacts from being uploaded into the assembly. The assembly itself is done but there are faces of certain components which have an ugly yellow appearance to them while the rest of the components appear as either stainless steel or copper. I looked through all of the materials and appearances within the drawing and deleted anything unused or anything that was an undesired artifact, yet, even though there is seemingly not any material/appearance that should be causing the yellow appearance of the faces, it is still there and I cannot override it by dumping steel or copper onto it as either a change to material or appearance. Is there any way to fix this?

No *.f3d file Attached.

Not even an image of the issue.

My wild guess is back side of a Surface Body.

Flip Normal

or

Hide

or

use a technique to convert to Solid Body (Thicken, Stitch...).

Surface and Solid Bodies are indicated in the browser.

The image you supplied doesn't show this information?

Share a link to your file and end all doubt (or at least a screen capture of the expanded bodies folders)?

Hi,

I have the impression that these are faces.
They only adopt the material colours on one side (dark side).
If the faces only represent an intermediate step, they can be deactivated in the browser.
If not, you can create bodies by thickening them.
The direction of the surfaces can also be changed.

Thank you, that seems to have fixed the coloring.

For future reference - your latest screenshot does not show the browser with the bodies expanded. If you drilled down a bit deeper in the browser you would see this information.
