I cant turn off some strange transparency setting

so I don't remember how or why this happened but it did.  I am able to see all the lines for every part on every body and component. almost as if it were transparent but it isn't since my opacity setting is at 100%

I'm honestly at a loss since I hate working like this, it's a massive eyesore for me.

you've turned on "shaded with hidden edges" display mode.  Go back to "shaded with visible edges only" to fix that:

Most likely, you inadvertently hit the hot key for this.  On Mac, this is CTRL-5.  CTRL-6 to go to "visible only" mode
