I can no longer export a file

I haven;t been able to export a file from the app in weeks now. The app will stop responding. I have to close it through task manager and get the file from web.

This my also be interesting. This is task manager after I restarted my pc, opened Fusion and drew that box as previous message.

So once more I removed all autodesk related software. I removed appdata and even went in registry and removed everything found on Fusion360.

I completely shutdown my computer, restarted again.

Downloaded a fresh install file fusion 360 and installed it. No icons shown,

Then I created a simple box, once again.  Saved it.

Notice the blue wheel spinning....

 

Trying to export as DWG. works.

I have the exact same problems, no thumbnails, upload never finishes and printing function to slicer not working and hanging the computer.

I hoped the last update (20460) would solve the problems. But No.

Fun fact: I just created another user on my PC and installed Fusion there with a free personal use account. I have no problems on that one.

Of course it's not the way I want to work with Fusion, but its better than not working at all.

Hello @RajkumarIlanchelian 

 

I followed your instructions to delete the  login__ActiveDocuments  and that did remove the continuously uploading design, it seems to be completely gone now, so thank you for that.

 

Unfortunately, all the other behavior remains.  I can't export/save any mesh files (in any format), I can't send files to any print programs (I assume that just makes an STL anyway), I can't export/import/insert STEP files (including through the Mcmaster option).

 

All of these actions must be doing some common network activity that's hanging.

@OopsieP77GL On this new user account did you use the trial version account of Fusion to login? If it is working in another user account and not in your then at least it is very specific to this user environment. This helps it at least narrow it down to likely some settings that is blocking it in that user environment. I thought you mentioned this but did you disable windows defender and see what happens?

@jpk5z Just like the other user on this thread, if you don't mind can you create a another user account on your machine and see if that works correctly? In your current user account can you please disable windows defender and see if that helps to narrow down where this is getting blocked?

No, I created an entire new user. Really from scratch. No Trial., nothing. 

If only I could remove everything completely on my main user account, but   whatever I do i keep seeing things in recent data that i can not delete.

@OopsieP77GL Also please do the following:

Close Fusion

  1. Uninstall Fusion, then:
  2. Go to C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\ DELETE folder Autodesk\
  3. Delete your Fusion launcher shortcut
  4. Download the installer again
  5. Now install

@OopsieP77GL So this one shows that you are an editor role in this hub. Interesting that you are not an admin in this hub. It looks like a lot of things going wrong with this trial account. Let me use this email that I see in there and check in the back end.

In the meantime I have completely removed autodesk Fusion 360, restarted my computer, removed appdata /roaming etc.

If needed you can cancel any trial, personal use is fine. I just use it for my hobby.
