How to join a plate to a ciruclar object.

How would I use the joint tool to align on the tangent of the plate with the circular tube.

i`m trying to get the plate:1 to join on the tangent of post:1.

Hope that makes sense?

Still new to Fusion so still learning the ropes.

You measure the current position,

make the joint to the centre / top of the pipe/cap, and the top midpoint of the plate than aligns to the pipe radius.

Radius of the pipe, and distance from the top plugged into the dialogue box.

Then press OK.
