How do I share designs with the personal license change?

I am a hobbyist and blog about my designs, and I always include links/downloads of my designs so others can play with them. The maker movement is all about sharing and modifying other people's designs.

The email I got about the license change includes this:

  • Download options from public share links

Even though I've not seen that mentioned in the blog post or FAQs.

Since we will no longer be able to export as STEP, nor offer F360 designs for download, how do we share our designs?

Or is the personal license no longer suitable for makers?

As it stands... Honestly, I don't see a way to use it collaboratively in the maker environment, except that you could still save it out as native format, I think, and send that via Google Drive or similar to someone else using Fusion.  You can still export a STL, so a simple design-for-print will still work, but you can't really export anything that will be usable for someone else to remix or iterate on.

Yeah that killed it for me (and I imagine many makers).

Fortunately SW is doing free maker licenses now!

I've heard that a couple times, but not been able to find it myself.  Can you point me to the source for that?  That's pretty awesome as an alternative!
