How do I get to Keyboard Shortcut Preferences?

Hi,

As of the April '26 update I have the following issue with some keyboard shortcuts:

- I have shift-a bound to Midpoint Constraint

- in a sketch, I hit shift-a to activate the constraint tool

- the Midpoint Constraint tool is not activated

- a pop-up appears with the message "Keyboard Shortcut Conflict: Multiple commands are assigned to the shortcut shift-a. Resolve the conflict in Keyboard Shortcuts preferences."

- the Preferences window contains nothing related to keyboard shortcuts

I can find what the conflict is by opening the Change Keyboard Shortcut window for a command and entering shift-a (as an aside, this only raises further questions, as the conflicting action is Net Class and Signal Colors, which I don't think applies in the Design>Sketch workspace), but I can't resolve it without going to the appropriate tool/action/etc and clearing its shortcut - unless these Keyboard Shortcut Preferences really do exist and I just can't find them? Any help or comments are appreciated.

I'm getting the same notification when I copy something. If I search conflicts using the method you mention, it says this is a reserved command. Unsurprising considering it is ctrl+c. But then how did I even get a conflict on it in the first place? And how do I resolve it when I can't find what else is using it?

I've also just run into this. I use Shift - F for the finish sketch action. I got that Shortcut Conflict error as well. I went to reassign a shortcut for finish sketch, reassigned it as Shift -F, and it gave a prompt that said it was assigned to some view faces command and that if I hit ok it would overwrite that to assign it to the finish sketch. I hit yes and it works again. 

I would add there seem to be more and more reserved commands. Previously I used Shift - H as horizontal/vertical sketch constraint. That got taken a year or so ago but the Autodesk assistant.

Found the shortcut that was overriding it. To change the shortcut, hover over the menu item and right-click the three dots to find the Change Keyboard Shortcut menu.

I am getting the same conflict error for Control+C to copy and Control+V to paste, new as of this April 2026 update as well.

No, because that's just repeating what I said in the original post: finding the conflicting tool and clearing its shortcut does get rid of the pop-up, but this is a needlessly complicated process that doesn't fix the core issue, which is either a badly-worded error message or a lack of knowledge on the message author's part about how the software works.

I am also receiving the error that CTRL+C CRTL+V is being used by another command, which I was not previously receiving. I have made ZERO custom shortcuts/keybinds. I even get the error that you CANNOT make a custom keybind CTRL+C/CTRL+V since its a fusion shortcut. Please fix this problem, its dumb and I have to close out 100 shortcut error windows every time I use the shortcut.

Can someone from Autodesk please look at this? Why were the keyboard shortcuts reverted to default in the first place? This seems like an update that nobody asked for and now workflows are disrupted because of something that does not benefit anybody. This should be something very simple and easy to fix

Also worthwhile to uncheck this checkbox in preferences: "Create new shortcuts when updating Fusion"

I thought this was a good tip, but apparently I already had it unchecked. Which means the new conflicting shortcuts for copy and paste ignore this setting completely...

But why doesn't Fusion just have a full list of keyboard shortcuts like any single program will have???????

This is hilariously poor design from Autodesk here. Having the same issue with Ctrl+C which obviously I've used for years until today when I got the conflict error. It ominously points me to "Keyboard Shortcuts Preferences" which doesn't seem to exist. You're telling me we can develop an AI chatbot but NOT give a list of global shortcuts and what they do? Terrible.

Thankfully there was an update this morning 🙂 BUT IT WAS ADDING FEATURES TO THE AI ASSISTANT AND NOT FIXING THE SHORTCUT ISSUE.

This issue has gotten worse. I keep changing Shift + F to finish sketch, it throws and error, I override, it works until I close the program and then I get the error again.

I have seen this on 3 separate PCs with the latest update. None of us has changed the keyboard shortcuts.
