Im trying to recreate the item below as a learning project and im trying to make the dome shape that is the top of the dalek...
Ive tried using a fillet tool but it doesnt quite do the same and I dont like the way it looks
How can I replicate this square dome shape?

You can use a Sweep with your desired shape. To select all sides of the square for you path, be sure to hold the Ctrl (Command) key down while selecting the edges. Model attached for you to play with.
