Hidden lines are displayed as object lines in drawing

I am creating a drawing for a single component of an assembly and I am trying to show hidden lines. I toggle on "Visible and Hidden Edges" in the edit drawing view tab and the hidden lines show up, but they show up as object lines instead of dashed lines.

Any assistance would be very appreciated

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting in the community!

Sorry to hear that!  Just to check - can you please check if there is an icon to update the drawing?  If so, could you update the drawing by clicking the icon and see if this makes any differences?

If there is not the update icon in the Fusion screen, would you mind sharing the drawing file with me so that I can take a closer look at this behavior?  You might like to create a public link to the file and post it in this thread or send it to me (kanehiko.saito@autodesk.com).

This web page guides how to share a design file - please make sure to enable (turn on) the "Allow item to be donwloaded" option in the "Share Public Link" dialog.

If you have any questions, please let me know!

Thanks.

I am having the same issue.  Drawing created (from same file) on 3/4/19 is correct, drawing created today (3/23/19) is not.

Drawing is up to date.  Scale is 1:1.

Edit to add:

Just created new model.  Drawing "from scratch" showed dashed hidden edges.  Drawing from my template (created earlier this month) showed solid hidden edges.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thank you for reporting this.

Sorry to hear that is happening!  Just to check - was there an image with the template file?  If yes, I found this is a known issue when inserted an image in the title block.  (internal ID: FDWG-10293)  I would like to report this behavior to our develpment team with this ticket!

Currently our development team is diligently working on this to resolve, and I will update in this thread once I have something to share about this!  I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause you.

If there was not an image in the template, can you please post a public link to the template file in this thread?  You are also able to send it me directly (kanehiko.saito@autodesk.com).

Hopefully this helps.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks.

Yes, I did place an image in the title block in my template.

What confuses me is that the template worked fine for several days with multiple models / files.  I hadn't done anything with the template for a couple weeks until this weekend when the problem first appeared.

LMK if you want copies or a public link.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thank you for sharing the link!

I was able to recreate this behavior on my end.  I will pass this to our development team, and will get back with you once I have something to share!  Again I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.

Thanks.
