Fusion360 won't start on latest Windows 10 Insider build (19030)

OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
OS Version: 10.0.19030 N/A Build 19030

Attempt to start program, it will freeze and never get to the splash screen. I'm available to grab whatever info you need from the process, since it doesn't die. It's just hanging.

Unfortunately rolling back is only an option for upgrades performed in the
last week. If you upgraded say 2 weeks ago and didn't catch this bug then
you are SoL.

yeah, looks like the newer insider builds might have some new updated security, probably on the network side.

So this might be something that the Autodesk team will need to fix, normally the insider builds shows us how things will be when it gets released 😉

Is it possible to tag someone from Autodesk here, or do they read everything ?

I am new here, so don't know how this forum works 🙂

I often feel SOL with the insider builds, but it's almost impossible to turn them back.

The last time this happened about a year, maybe almost 2 years ago, Autodesk had a solution inside a week.  It doesn't help that this happened over the holiday weekend though.

Been an Insider since 2014, and usually you can work around stuff like this, but haven't been able to figure out what actually is wrong this time.

20H1 branch are more or less ready for release now, so this should be looked into...

The whole point of windows insider is to test the latest version so if you want a stable version should just not hop on the insider ring. Problem fixed for you 🙂

...and so you can work with vendors to get ahead of issues before they hit
the general community.

Which is what we're doing by reporting and sharing logs and actions we've
tried to get things to work.

No one here is complaining. We're all on insiders build and we all know the
risks.

Everyone is just saying "me too" so the devs are aware it's not an isolated
incident that might be chalked up to PEBKAC problems.

For me it is not working on Build 19028,19030,19033. I checked the logs (the same as already stated in this thread) und I had a look with Procmon and Process Explorer but I did not find any differences to the startup in build 19025. I returned to 19025 for now but follow this thread if there are any changes. There are also messages open in the feedback hub of microsoft, so I think this problem will be solved after the holidays...

I already posted on another thread.  But posting here as this thread is getting more traction???

My OS Build is now 19033.1 but have the exact same symptoms. I did a complete Windows 10 Reset, to no avail.

Same issue here:

Windows 10 19033.1

When I start F360, none of the F360 logs update or anything.  F360 sits in background tasks using 13.8MB and no CPU GPU, Network, or Disk.

Just to add my name to the list, running 19033.1 and Fusion360 doesn't start for me either. It shows in the Task Manager, but doesn't show anything on the screen. The log doesn't show any errors, just info and debug messages.

Would be nice if there was a simple "I got the same problem" button for the original post.

Seeing how many people just had to create a separate post merely to state they see the same thing, seems cumbersome.

However, I do see the same thing 🙄
