Hi,

I try to export this design to stl, I get this error.

However with other designs I don't get the problem.

Has anyone had anything like this happen to them or does anyone know what I can do?

I need help 😞

Thanks in advance!

Hi @chresta7 ,

When you tried to export the stl file,  Fusion 360 service might have "degraded". you can check the status in the Health Dashboard page.

https://health.autodesk.com

Can you please give another try to export the file as stl?

Hello dsouzasujay,
thank you very much for helping me.

I have tried to export it to stl several times today but the problem still persists.

I don't understand why this can happen, because when I export other similar parts, which I have made with the same operation process, I don't get any problem.

Thank you very much,
if you think of anything else, please don't hesitate to write me 🙂

Hi @chresta7 ,

Can you please attach the File>Export your *.f3d/*.f3z file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Hi @dsouzasujay ,

Thank you very much for trying to help me.
I can't attach it here because its size exceeds what is allowed. So if it's not too much trouble I'll send it to you via WeTransfer link. -> https://we.tl/t-2MX8Kyq8HG

Download it when you want, but you have to know that in 7 days the link expires.

thank you very much :))

Greetings!

Hello,

I am experiencing the same problem. Have you received any fixes? This seems to have happened as a result of the recent update.

Hi @paulleeCPZ4A,

I still haven't received any solution.

And I think the same, it could be a error update, because I also have problems with the combine function.

Hi @paulleeCPZ4A @chresta7 ,

I can see the 'Failed' message while exporting as STL.

Thanks for reporting, I have logged as a defect (FUS-79012)
Until it gets fixed, Use Save as STL from the root browser node. Also please do let me know if this workaround works for you.

Hello @dsouzasujay ,

You are great! thank you so much for all the help you have given me.
I didn't know that the root point included the entire body and with what you show in the picture I've been able to export it completely.

Thank you very much!😁😁
