Fusion - Render crash

Fusion 360 is consistently crashing (shutdown/no blue screen) with event viewer showing Critical Event 41 Kernel-Power, when I go select the preview render on a model. I have a G733PYVAS laptop (AMD 7945HX & 4090). The crash causes my laptop to be semi bricked for a while as it crashes as soon as i log into windows many times and following crashes when simply web browsing (never happened before the render crash).

Hi @onlytezonly , can you share the specific model that causes the crash? Or is it with any model into the render workspace?

I did not have any crashes previous to this one that bricked my computer and had previously rendered a file with many of the same components several times in a different file save. Unfortunately, I need my computer functional for the time being so I can't test more. https://a360.co/49JfHGf

Let me know how to attach the f3z file if needed.

I keep getting:

Correct the highlighted errors and try again.

  • The attachment's 1slimboi_crashexe.f3z content type (application/fusion) does not match its file extension and has been removed.

The file is 32000 KB

Hi @onlytezonly , First export the file from fusion, then right click on the .f3d file and compress to .zip file and then you should be able to send it.

Hi @onlytezonly , I played around with the f3d file and after trying to render and preview render(Which I am assuming you meant "In canvas render"), I had no issues, You said it crashes when you hit the preview render right ?, If possible could you attach a short video of what exactly leads to a crash as I was unable to reproduce it.

Thanks!

Tested on a similar system? I did a complete new windows 11 install with fresh drivers and fresh install of fusion. https://youtu.be/aKFMEsuWs-w?si=02Qzyh2k46hGPgCJ
