With the new august update fusion is opening all my drop downs for every tool path for all programs in the file randomly, while programing tool paths, adjusting current tool paths, and even just saving the entire file. It had never done this before the update not sure how to stop it. Im running fusion on Mac.

Does it look like this?

Hopefully that there's a note on it means they're working to address it soon.

Hi

This was fixed in the update on July 20th v.2603.1.15

Make sure your fusion is up to date

I just had this expansion occur and I am using v.2603.1.15

Manufacturing is painfully slow, it seems everythig is recalculating machining times and each process is taking an extended amount of time to open upon switching to the manifacture enviroment as well. One click and everything seems to need to be recalculated or something before it will move on.

@sportbikeryder this should indeed be fixed for the most current release. Can you capture this behavior in a video and share that here? And when you say "everything needs recalculating", are you referring to your toolpaths going out of date?

Hi Seth,

This only happened to me twice, and I am not able to "force" it to happen.

My "recalculating" comment was a little vague, it is not regenerating the toolpaths, rather taking a long time to "open" the manufacture environment as it is processing each tool path to some extent when opening a file and switching to.manufacture.

I have also noticed a few instances of a sort of automatic  occurance of importing CAM data, and creating additional linked copies of the tool paths. I have had to unlinkk and delete a few times to prevent a huge number of linked setups being created.

This is a file that sort of has circular part / assembly instances (multiple instances of the same and similar files inserted into itself). Not the best practice for modeling for sure, but over time sometimes best planning just doesn't happen lol.

I did notice a significant performance increase from clearing the cache, something  I had not done.

Hmm. It shouldn't automatically import the CAM data without prompting you. Nevertheless, we do have some improvements coming in this area in an upcoming release, so stay tuned for that!

Jsut had it happen again, after finally getting the file to open. Seems to take 10's of monutes to open, and when it finally does, the CAM operations are duplicated with multiple coioes and linked. They ned to be highlighted, unlinked, and deleted before the file is in any way useable in the manucafture workspace.

Perhaps something changed in teh last few "updates" with a default of "no" for the CAM operation import and it is now doing so automatically, I am not sure.
