Fusion exports broken stl model

I created a simple fusion model. Then I export it to stl. Open in any slicing software (cura or simplify3d, doesn't matter) and after slicing there are extra planes, that were not created by me in design. Canvases were turned off before exporting. I will appreciate any help on this issue. Here is the link to model: https://a360.co/2OizIeu

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting in the forum! I imported the STL file back to Fusion 360, but the mesh doesn't seem to have any issues. Please see the attached file. As I am not seeing the issue when importing the mesh, I'm assuming the issue may have occurred in the slicing software.

Would you mind attaching a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Yes, problem is only visible after slicing. I've tested different stl viewers, and noone showed those planes. Please, find attached screenshot from slisers.

model_view_in_slicer - just view of the stl file, when it is put into slicer

problem_cura_35 - you can clearly see problem in layer 126, extra plane was added, and printer actually prints it

problem_simplify3d - exactly the same problem as in cura

You could try to vary the parameters in the .stl export dialogue in Fusion 360 and see if the error persists.

Yep, changed refinement to high, and slicer was able to slice properly. Thank you for this workaround !

Unfortunately it didn't work on another machine. Still looking for solution.
