Fusion Drawing wont display shaded mode correctly

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble removing the black outlines from my Drawing views in Fusion. I am working on an aircraft assembly and I want the views to appear strictly shaded (like a render or the Shaded visual style in the Design workspace), but even when selecting the Shaded style, the black geometry lines remain very prominent.

What I've tried so far:

  • Confirmed that the Style is set to Shaded in the Drawing View property map.

  • Toggled Tangent Edges off, but the main silhouetted and visible edges still appear as black lines.

  • Verified that all components in the assembly have the same appearance applied.

  • You can see that even with the shaded cube selected, the output looks like "Shaded with visible edges." (attached image)

Is there a way to make the drawing view purely shaded without these outlines? Or is this a limitation of the Drawing environment?

Any help or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @flaubert_eng ,

Thanks for the clear description and for listing what you already tried—that helps.

In Fusion Drawings, the Shaded view style is still built for technical documentation, it adds shaded fill but often keeps strong visible / silhouette linework so edges stay readable at small scales and on prints. That can look like “Shaded with visible edges” compared to the Design workspace Shaded visual style, which is tuned more like a 3D viewport than a drawing sheet.

Please follow below image and see if this helps
