fusion crashed

Hi folks fusion crashed. cant edit sketches on this file and others .  right click, double click no work.  Did something happen?  did we do something  wrong or missing something?

I can work around,. The question was why i cant edit on the first sketch with no time line but i can on the others? I understand how i need to edit this. i just cant edit that file. we always used to as you can  see in the screen cast. this is how and why the file got on here. I could not edit the sketch. now can you tell me why

If the sketch was added in Direct Modeling mode, it has to be edited in the same mode.  If it is added in Parametric Modeling mode (Timeline) then you can edit it directly from the timeline or Browser.  That is it in a nutshell.  Go back and look at my Screencast.

By the way, I am assuming your are addressing me.  You constantly are posting to yourself using the Quick Reply icon instead of the Reply!

Yes.  @jhackney1972 explained it in his screencast.  There are two types of sketches here.  The sketch you "cannot edit" is owned by a Base Feature.  In order to edit a sketch owned by a Base Feature, you must first edit the Base Feature, then you can edit the sketch.  It is unfortunate that the two sketch types do not have different icons, to indicate the difference.  I hope someday we can change that.
