Fusion 360 v2.0.16486 Help: Converting Mesh from STL or 3MF to Solid Body for Editing

I downloaded an STL  file from Thingiverse and I am unable to convert this mesh into a body. I've watched multiple videos on the process, but still no luck. Would anyone be able to walk me through the conversion of the attached stl file to a solid body for editing?

I didn't add the threads as they appear to be special M72x12 - but maybe the Attached will give you some ideas.

There are a lot of tutorials on creating special threads in Fusion.

Doesn't work for me because I can't select the body... its very frustrating.
