Fusion 360 Parameters window to remain open (Non-Modal)

I would like the parameters window to be NON-MODAL (remain open).

This would provide a more dynamic design environment. Currently I have to open and close the parameters window many times while sketching and modeling which breaks workflow and concentration.

For example, while sketching I realize that a dimension should be driven by a parameter I have to stop, close the sketch, open the parameters window, create the parameter, close the parameters window, then reopen the sketch and apply the parameter to the dimension.

If the parameters window to remain open (perhaps on an adjacent monitor) I could simply click over, create the parameter, then click back into the sketch relatively interrupted.

Thank you for your kind consideration to this design issue.

IMHO this is one of the biggest annoyances with the UI. Its frustrating and eats up time and you often lose momentum.

Would love to see this change too.

FYI, you can open parameters while remaining in a sketch, create a parameter, and apply it.

I agree with the rest though, I'd love to be able to keep it open on my second monitor throughout the design process.

100% agreed. It would be very useful to be able to look at the parameters table -- both as a reference for the custom parameters names and to be able to adjust values.

I do not disagree, I too would like the Parameters dialog to be able to remain open.  I would like to suggest to you when in the same situation your describe to try a different process.  If you realize you need a parameter while sketching, type the parameter name, using good naming practices (no spaces), an "=" then the desired value.  This will create a "model parameter" and it will be automatically made a favorite.  I agreed a model parameter has some differences but most of the time it can be used in the same way as a user parameter.

This is definetly an useful feature. But being able to modify parameters at the same time you are edting a feature, for example, would be game changing!
