Under my account I see Fusion 360 Legacy with option to download.

I have looked for answers but the information found does not clear up the confusion as to what it is/does

I am not sure exactly what you are looking for.  Fusion 360 Legacy just means you Fusion seat was purchased back when Fusion was $300ish and means your will pay that every year as long as you maintain your seat.  It is no different than Fusion 360 otherwise.

@mario.brizida, Fusion 360 legacy functions the exact same as Fusion 360.  It just has a different pricing structure.

I have just discovered that having a legacy seat does not allow you access to the same addins, IE HSMworks premium, as having a newer seat. And upgrading is not an option, you must buy a new seat

My legacy seats included HSM Ultimate and have all the same stuff as my newer seats.  I am unaware of any difference other than price for a paid legacy seat to a paid new seat.

Can you please confirm then that I should be able to use HSMworks 2020
using my existing Legacy licence? Is this what you are saying?

Thanks

Hi,
I don't use HSM Ultimate, so I'm not the right person to answer to your question.

You can check by clicking your icon when you are logged in on the Autodesk website.

Then go to products and services

then scroll down to see that HSMWorks is an option

It is included in all of my paid Fusion 360 licenses so I do not know why you would not have it

The price is just different, not necessarily lower.  I just noticed I have a 'legacy' subscription, with no add-ons or anything and my price is over 50% higher than the current price.
