Fusion 360 Cannot Be Opened (MAC)

Hi guys,

I would really appreciate some assistance. I am using a Mac and I have accidentally moved the Fusion 360 App from its orignal folder into the Applications folder on my mac. I can no longer open Fusion as I am given a message saying "Autodesk Fusion 360 cannot be opened because of a problem." I must have corrupted something when I moved the app file from it's root folder. I tried dragging it back into its original folder however It will not open and has a black arrow in the bottom left corner of the icon. Apple's diagnostics said I may need to re-install the app however I have lots of very important files that aren't saved locally to my desktop (for example) and can only be opened through recent files in Fusion. I don't know how to access my projects without losing them.

Please assist me in retrieving my files as I cannot afford to lose them.

Thanks Josh

Hey 19jha,

Don't worry, all of your data is stored on the cloud. It's completely safe to reinstall F360- when you sign in with the same account you were using, all your data should be exactly as it was when you last used it.
