Newbie needs help, please.
Need your help with Spline not snapping to construction lines. I am following this tutorial. Please have a look where his Spline snaps onto the construction lines. I do exactly the same but my Spline does not want to snap to the construction lines. I don't even the the little circles onto which it is supposed to snap.

His process is hit and miss, you and I can’t make it work without

Sketch > Project > Intersect > Articles.

select each of the sketch outlines, preview is a red dot, you will get both sides of the circles, but make sure you get both sides.  Press ok, and you get purple dots.

Hide all the other sketches, and confirm, you should have 8 purple dots.  If so, connect the dots with a Spline.  Mirror for the second side - not so sure, but to be symmetric try it that way first.

Use Tangent Constraint for the top Intersection, 100 % reliable.

Think this is because Auto Project is now off by default. Try pressing P for project and project all the points you need before starting the spline command.

Thanks for the time in replying. I tried with P but when I try the Fit Point Spline they don't snap onto the points I projected. Maybe I understand the solution wrong. Will keep on trying, though.

In the sketch you are making for the rails, it’s Project > Intersect, not P.

Do the top circle, when you highlight the circle you should get two red dots, when you select the circle you will get two purple dots.

In the sketch palette - grey panel for sketching snap tick box has to be ticked.

Hi again.

I tried but I am not certain if I understand correctly. This is what I have done:

I know that it is something small I am missing.
