Feature Request: When creating a pattern allow for end point selection to define length

Sometimes it would be nice, when the extent of a path (rect, circular or path) could be tied to positions on the model rather than hard coded length/distance values.

For that reason it would be nice when length handle arrow would actually snap to points on the sketch/model.

For pattern along path it should be possible to snap the end of the pattern to the starting point in order to create a closed loop where the first and last item become the same (possibly supressing the last iteration).

@scruff.r

Can you attach a file to illustrate?

Of course.

In this example for the holes inside the model I had to measure the path length (243.31mm) and manually transfer the measurement (minus a fraction of a mm to avoid the distance to "collapse" to zero).

The pattern along path sports 15 holes where the first and last are almost the same.

However when manipulating the path so that its length changes the 15th hole will not line up with the first anymore.

The rectangular pattern I want the left and right holes to sit exactly at the transition between straight line and fillet.

Sure I could use a formula for the horizontal distance if the fillets were designed and dimensioned in the sketch, but when modeling the fillets as feature the fillet radius isn't that straight forward to retrieve.

With the requested feature these "problems" would be resolved.

And once available one might find many more cases where such a feature may become handy.
