.FBX export missing materials, three.js

i need to export my model with materials appearance like glass or gemstone ruby.

Loading 3D models – three.js docs (threejs.org)

When glTF is not an option, popular formats such as FBX, OBJ, or COLLADA are acceptable".

.f3d is not acceptable.

i tried .obj .fbx ... when i open in a 3d viewer like FBX review, the color is there but the material glass appearance is missing why ?

This is because materials and appearances do not export outside of F3D format(or f3Z).

Thank you for your prompt response.

unfortunately I cannot use .f3d in my application and i cannot find a format converter either.

is exporting the model to a texturing app like adobe substance 3D painter my only option ?

Yes you would need to use something external to Fusion to apply materials and appearances. I'm not familiar with that product, but i would wager anything that can apply them will work.
