F360 in a Browser

Hi

So in out company he have an account A that is the owner of the F360 licenses . This are then assigned to accounts B and C. Account A does not actually use any product it is just the owner of the licenses (company account if you want).

Now one day I (account B) wanted to just look up and edit a model from home laptop. I thought well I can just log in, and open it in a browser since F360 has a browser version. But when doing that I got a message " Autodesk Education or Commercial Account Required" ??!  So why cant I use F360 in a browser if I have commercial f360 license assigned to me?

Was this the webpage you used?

https://fusion.online.autodesk.com/

Only other thought, where you signed in before going to that page? Might want to sign in to your hub first.

I would like to tag someone in from Autodesk but it looks like the little elves are busy breaking the forum software again! I'll try again later.

@Miha-M

I have not used browser version - but there might be another way.

Are you aware that you can install Fusion 360 anywhere you need it?

If your personal computer has the specs to run Fusion, you can legally install.

The license is tied to login, not to the actual install.

I m aware of that. This is what I end up doing although is my wife's laptop actually and i really dont like installing my software on it to use it like 5 times year.

It is just that browser based f 360 is so convenient for this occasions.

@Phil.E  Would you have any insight on the problem from the first post?

Thanks Mark

This might be a simple issue of cached information. First try restarting the computer if that hasn't been tried yet. If it still fails, please screen-shot the message you are getting and post here.

Another thing you could try is opening an incognito window and logging into online Fusion there.

Incognito mode does not work.

Also,  wife's laptop at home, which never had Autodesk product installed before, and workstation at work lead me to the same message as on attached picture.

I see the problem has been solved and I can access f360 in a browser.

Thank you
