In Fusion or Fusion360, is it possible to explode a polyline so it appears as discrete Lines and Arcs in the DXF file ? Or can I disable the generation of polylines all together ?

Thanks for asking. This is not possible within Fusion sketching at this time, nor is it available with existing dxf export options.

Is there an import option in the software consuming the dxfs you are creating with Fusion?

Hi Phil,

There is now. I am writing the software that consumes the DXF from fusion, so I had no choice but to figure out how to interpret the Polyline record, myself.

I put the burden on the user to simply explode them and never expected to discover any CAD platform that could not explode.

Thanks.
