Issue regarding saving of files

I have created a project in fusion360 and when i was trying to save it, it is showing that the license have has been expired but i had renewaled he license before starting the project and when i try to refresh and save again, i had lost all my work. How to restore it

Unfortunately there is no way to restore the data if it was not saved to the cloud.

Just to be sure I understand your question, was the lost work created while Fusion showed a warning about the expired license, and when you restarted Fusion the work was lost?

Yes, but I renewed the license before the start of my work. And I just restarted because I was unable to save my work.

Got it. It sounds like after renewing Fusion was not restarted. That is a required step.

If the screen shows warnings like the ones marked with green in this image, all work is Read Only, which means it cannot be saved.

Unless and until Fusion has ceased to tell you the file you are working on is Read Only, the file will be Read Only.

I'm sorry that happened to you. We have been trying to update the experience so it is more clear that any work done while expired is not savable. Is there anything notable about this experience that would have prevented the lost work? I'm glad to add your comments to the improvement tickets.

I didn't find the Read-only prompt in my case, but I wish there should be at least 30-days cloud storage of the work which is not savable due to expiration of license issue. And could be able to save the work once renewed the license.
