Drawing scale does not update when base model scale is changed through the edit view option

I just wanted to report a bug that I found today.  The scale listed in the attribute in the template populates when the base view is placed.  However, it does not update as the base view scale is changed when the view is edited.

I agree with you and I have verified your findings.  Just to let you know, if you double left mouse click on the title block, then choose Reset Properties, it will update.  This is not a good solution as it will reset any other changes you have made.

I will be sure to add this as a feature request by both of you. Making note the issue of resetting other changes. Thank you both for your feedback!

With the latest update the scale attribute changes everytime to the scale of the last drawing view you have edited the properties on.

On top of constantly changing the scale it even includes the "(from parent)" note from the properties dialogue.

The scale changing is really annoying.

I have every time before publishing drawings double check the scale in drawing header. And YES sometimes I'll publish drawings with wrong scale..

I think it should be possible to lock the scale to specific view and to be changed only on request.  Editing views should not automatically change the scale in header.
