Drawing "Section View" does not snap to vertical or horizontal

I have a drawing with a section view.

The section view arrows snap nicely to a green dotted line. Very helpful.

I duplicated the sheet and switched the configuration.

When the part became larger (due to the configuration change) the section view arrows were no longer large enough and part of the view was cut off as a result.

Simple fix - I can just reduce the scale of the view, and then click and drag the section view arrows to make them larger.

Not so much - there is no "snap to vertical" green line, and so unless my hand is a robot arm capable of drawing a dead vertical line, there is no way for me to stretch the arrows without ruining the view.

I repeated the above steps 3 times and the problem did not reproduce twice and did reproduce once.

Has anyone else had this issue?

There is a rotate command in the modify menu. It can be used to align the section line with horizontal or vertical.
