dialogue box is not scaling

Hi Support Team,

I found a strange behavier with the dialogue box. They are not scaling.

This happent with the joint and animation dialog box.

I can scale only horizontally but not verticular.

After I a minimized the box, I can see the full content.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Fusion 360 community!

I just did some quick testing on my machine, and I think that this behavior might actually be intended. Also, I found that this behavior occurs with any dialog box that has been pinned to a side within Fusion 360. I noticed that if I drag the dialog box away from the side that it is pinned to, I can resize the box to however big I would like it to be. I recorded a quick screencast to demonstrate and explain this behavior a little bit, just because it is a little difficult to grasp from a text description.

Now I understand why the scaling itn't working and the idea behind the locked box. My expectation was a autoscaling dialog box, driven by the content.

Its a bit different to other programs, but I will get used to it.

One thing to note is dialog boxes will only auto-resize if they're docked to the right side of the screen. They will not resize if they are docked to another dialog or to the left side.

In the sketch environment you'll need to dock the dialogs like this and they will reliably resize.
