Detailed Info on Intermittent Lockup

Ok so I have been experiencing HUGE Lockup issues of late.  Ive posted in a couple of the other threads on the issue with no results forthcoming, so this time I watched and recorded what was going on.

At 14:26 today, fusion took a long time to open the first file i selected to open.  this is a shot of what it was doing while the beach ball spun, taken from the console view of the log file for that session(note brand new session, first file opening)14:34:18 System Locks when I select Hide for model components14:34:18 System Locks when I select Hide for model components

So I am able to work for about 8 min until 14:34:37 when I Attempt to Hide a bunch of model components, Log window continues to show the same uploading messages continuously through out the lockup.  Note that during this time there is no apparent network or Disk activity

Then At 14:38:41 suddenly the Lock up ends the command is executed and things are working again, meanwhile the smae set of messages continue to scroll.  The log shows the command request as well as a number of autosave commands etc.

Also attached you will find a copy of the session log file for your review.

This IS REALLY HAPPENING!!!!!!! about every 10 min and it is destroying my ability to use the software!

Please look into this without requesting I clear my caches etc, which I have already done.

Attached also are the Diagnostic log files

Here is the Graphics INfo

So some additional details.  I figured out how to purge the Upload it kept trying to do, so that has made it clear that the lockups occur whenever there is an auto save going on.  if it locks and I check the log it shows mandatory AutoSave initiated.

It also takes forever if I manually save as well.

Hi @jasonhomrighaus,

Sorry for the delay in getting to you. I chatted with the team and we are hoping to get the latest diagnostic logs from you after you deleted the upload queue. Also, if possible, can you export the .f3z file from A360 and send that to me so we can diagnose what might be happening?

Thanks,

First off, This is a patent pending design but has not been made public so please treat it accordingly.

I was able to get the stuck files out of the Queue,

This Model has become unworkable, Saves take up to 5 Min to complete

After fighting with for days, i tried starting over to see if it was just one of the components that was causing it however this model using effectively the same components works perfectly fine so far

Hi @jasonhomrighaus,

Thanks for sharing. I edited your response to remove the download links and password. This will only be shared with our development team internally to see what might be going on.

As soon as I have an update I will let you know. I will do some testing on my machine as well.

Thanks,

Hi @jasonhomrighaus,

Thanks for sharing those. Development is looking at these currently and they have been most helpful. My big question - have you been able to progress/workaround this, or is it still hindering your workflows?

Thanks,
