delete glitch?

when I'm cleaning up an svg file before extruding I have to hit the delete tool twice to remove a line.
then it will start working for a few minutes and I only have to hit the delete tool once.
the select tool for lines you want to remove behaves the same way. I'll select a few lines, hit delete and it may delete some or none at all.
am I doing something wrong?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Turn off Profile in the sketch palette before editing the sketch.

Don't forget to turn it back on when done 😉

This is what happens when two identical vectors overlap.

Whatever technique you are using to create that it is creating duplicate curves over top of each other - that is why you have to delete twice when single selection.

To get both spline curves at the same time use crossing window selection (Right to Left).

Crossing window selection.

Thanks folks. I use this website to convert jpegs to svg files.

https://vectorizer.com/

Is there any way to prevent it from creating lines over lines?
Also..the cross selection sometimes doesn't appear in a rectangle..it's all kinds of messed up.
I'll see if I can recreate that.

1. Use PNG instead of JPG.

2. Black and white instead of color.

3. Watch tutorials on preparation and editing.
